A friend of mine was performing with her African drumming Ensemble, so I visited the place a couple of months ago. It's cute and very compact. Didn't grab a bite here so can't comment on food, but my beer was chilled:). Downtown Carrollton is pretty cute and has really come up.
Great local hangout for food and beers. Best craft beer selection on a rotating tap basis. Good 'pub food plus' food selection. Quarterly farm to table food and craft beer pairing dinner that is not to be missed.
Awesome people, great music, friendly and fun. Exceptional drinks and open mic night every Wednesday from 10pm-1am.
This a great, old-fashioned bar (for this generation, anyway), and is one of the most enduring (if not the most) in Carrollton. The bartenders are genuine and will respect you if you respect them, and they'll show you the door if you're a jerk. They're about more than just good business, they're about genuine interaction. The atmosphere is of friends and family than just another Greek bar. Go there if you want to have fun without being judged. Ignore the reviews about rude bartenders; they're wonderful, they just don't waste their time on jerks. They also host local bands on occasion.
